E. B. Dean spent more than a decade trapped in the heartless black void which is commonly referred to as the California Workers' Compensation Industry. In 2004, which has since been referred to as The Year of the Great Liberation, E. B. took more than a few steps of faith and, gathering his family around him, trekked across the country to the lushly greener pastures of Atlanta, Georgia. Finally faced with the realization of his more-than-a-decade-long dream of no longer being an insurance adjuster, E. B. now spends most of his time hovering over one keyboard or another typing furiously. Occasionally such activity leads to reasonably coherent groups of words which E. B. hopes to sell to publishers. He has also been known to hang out with his two beautiful daughters, haunt the halls of his local church, sit in on a 12-step meeting or two, and spend copious amounts of time on the couch either visiting with family and friends, watching television, or cheering for the Lakers. This is usually accompanied by vast amounts of cuddling with the love of his life, the woman who makes his life possible, exciting, and downright magical.
